Currently dedicated to Volunteer Development and Alumni Engagement at the Phi Kappa Tau Executive Offices. Responsibilities include, stakeholder engagement with our 80+ BOG Advisory Boards, Volunteer Development and Training, planning of alumni gatherings, and tracking anniversaries of chapter founding, engaging and communicating with our 75,000 living alumni, assistance with our housing strategies for our undergraduate groups, collection of data on our current volunteers. I also assist and facilitate our various educational programs we offer our undergraduates and assist with initiations, in person Council and Foundation meetings, and other office responsibilities as needed.

Beers Aren’t Bad is a revolutionary brand that is changing the way students see alcohol and risk management training. Main role is presenting in front of groups and teaching them about the Beers Aren’t Bad model and educating Fraternity Men and Sorority Women on how to safely have fun during their undergraduate experiences.

I worked within 5 of our Brands in the TechGroup section of Babcox Media Group. My day-to-day responsibilities involved creating push notifications for our website subscribers, along with posting and editing content on to each of these 5 brand’s websites. I also was in charge scheduling and creating social media content for these brands, and used the Sprout Social software along with Asana to manage these brands and keep track of my deadlines with various departments. I was also a proofread editor for the AutoSuccess brand and directly reported to the Editor in Chief of that brand whenever she needed me to work on projects for it.

As the Brand Manager for Manny's Pub, I create promotional material for the bar, schedule and run events with partnered companies, and am the mind behind what goes onto our social media pages. I run the Instagram and Twitter pages that we own and post scheduled content weekly or more along with making sure that we are reaching as many returning customers as possible. I also work with the organizations on campus when they need to rent out the bar, or schedule a date party or event.

Member of Executive Board, coordinated Phi Kappa Tau activities, communicated with alumni, created newsletters, press releases, email lists, planned & executed alumni events like tailgates and golf outings to bolster alumni involvement.

As the social chair I was in charge of coordinating events with 13 other fraternities on campus, 6 sororities and other student organizations. I was also in charge of creating graphics, multimedia posts, and flyers for these various events. I also worked with venues to schedule our formals and date parties, along with hosting registered events at our chapter house.

In charge of everything in the back of the house which included prepping food for the week, cutting meats, portioning food, making fresh foods for prep line like pico de Gallo and other various things. Also included serving guests, making sure things were stocked and doing dishes, as well as taking care of food orders on the line and taking care of quality control.

The Service Coordinator was an integral part in running the front of the restaurant. The service coordinator organized server sections, sat tables, helped pre bus tables, along with taking care of to go orders over the phone, and running food from the line to tables as well. The Service coordinator would also take call heads for parties larger than five.
