Teaching Film Studies Foundation Course at Brooke House College.

Since starting at Brooke House College, I have committed myself to delivering a strong footballing philosophy, assisting players in their quest to become better footballers as well as people. Working in such an environment on a daily basis has allowed me the opportunity to secure my own personal values that have become paramount in my coaching delivery; working on as much detail as possible, installing discipline across the board to ultimately allow more freedom and enjoyment. In addition to this, the weekly schedule that we try and run as a professional experience for our students, has enhanced my organisation skills along with understanding the demands of life in football.During this period, I have worked with players from all over the world, ranging from 13-19 year olds, some that have gone on to achieve professional contracts and some that have represented their country.I have also worked very closely with players to help them psychologically with any issues that may arise both in football and every day life. This has helped me develop close relationships with players, consequently improving the overall success of each individual and therefore the teams/Academy. Filming and video analysis has also become an integral resource of developing the players/students, of which I have led during my time at Brooke House College. Providing footage for team analysis, individual reflection and highlights for future opportunities.This role has also required of me recruitment trips abroad along with co-ordinating trips for visiting groups over to the college.

I was provided with an opportunity to work with Stamford AFC, as assistant manager, who play in the Evo Stick Premier Division. It was a great experience, working with a great level of technical player within a senior environment and obviously in a results focused environment.When we came in, the club was in a poor state, both on and off the pitch and we were aware that it was going to take a lot of work to change the clubs position around. Unfortunately, we were not given the time needed to successfully do this and things came to an end prematurely.My duties involved supporting the first team a manger, liaising with the physiotherapist, designing and delivery training sessions in line with the philosophy that we were trying to install whilst promoting good attitudes and strong ethics to change the club around.

I started at BCLFC coaching the u13s, moving on up with the majority of that same group to the u15s, which allowed two extra years working with the same group of players. I then moved up with those players to the u17s but left the club around the beginning of that season.During my time there, my other duties included creating a new playing and coaching philosophy, delivering presentations to players an parents on various different topics, such as psychology, motivation, attitude and technical development. I was also involved in developing technical videos for players, creating a measuring tool allowing the players to see the requirements of that they should be reaching for each age group, along with producing tactical videos for teams to analyse.

I played the piano for family events such as weddings and birthday parties during the early hours of the event evenings for just over two years, that were held at The Piano Room, in Lutterworth.

During my time at Lutterworth, I influenced and installed a playing philosophy that many wouldn't be possible at that standard of football. Whilst only having access to a small training facility, I managed to deliver sessions that were really player focused and that also worked on developing the style of play of the team. This moved into matches where we dominated matches through that season and a half I was involved for. The success of the team, gaining promotion and a cup final, came from a strong philosophy that the individuals benefitted from. Along with my work with the first team, I integrated the reserves and youth team into a greater picture of the clubs development, where all players were giving the same exposure and equal opportunities.

I was asked to take the training sessions for Friar Lane's first team and assist on Match Days during the 2010/2011 season, which was a great experience into coaching within senior football.

I was the u14s Coach in the first season I was at Leicester and then moved up to the u16s coach in the second year.I then moved back to the u14s to become head coach in my third and last season there.

My role at Leicester City Women Football Club was to support the first team manager in daily duties, along with delivery coaching sessions, assisting with match day duties, along with overseeing the development of the fringe players and centre of excellent players coming through.At the time, we were playing in the Northern Premier League, was division below the National Division which was the top division before the super league was introduced.

I worked with the u8s development centre at Leicester City Football Club for a short period to gain some experience during that period.

After passing my Level 1 Coaching Award after turning sixteen, I took over the u11s girl's team and stayed with them for their u12s season also. I helped develop players which then moved up to the Centre of Excellence at Leicester City Women's Football Club. Also during the second year coaching at the club I had grown up at playing football, I was the assistant manager to u18s side, of which I then became manager for two years also.Alongside that, I was running the u14s boys team, as well as many other volunteering duties within the club on a daily basis. My Dad was also Chairman during some influential years at the club, single handedly raising over £1.2 million to develop the facilities, so I also learnt about applying for funding and creating bids, along with learning about the overall runnings of a community football club.

After participating on the Referee's course, I officiating football matches on and off for a four year period for local clubs.

I covered another employee of The Football Association for a three month period during their paternity leave.This was an enjoyable time where I learnt to improvise when faced with unpredictable situations at schools and local clubs.

I worked with the Brazilian Soccer Schools for six months, delivering coaching sessions for their u16s side.

I set up Football 4U as a way to create my own job in football, running school camps as well as summer holiday schools, managing a small team of coaches around the Harborough District for young children to experience enjoyable training sessions.I gained experience through visiting schools to obtain opportunities for after school sessions and to further the trust in the business.However, after it's first year I was offered a better opportunity which led to me not pursuing to grow this business further.

After attending a local Goalkeeping Development Centre in Market Harborough for many years, I was then asked to take over the coaching and delivering of the sessions for the next two-three years, working and developing goalkeepers from the local area/clubs from ages 5-18 years.

I worked as a Sales Negotiator Apprentice for Adams & Jones Estate Agents, where I learnt a lot regarding communication skills along with many other abilities, but left to fulfil my desire to work in football.

I was a casual weekend worker at the local kennels, which, being a dog lover, I really enjoyed for part time work.
