Press Officer to Hall of Fame boxing promoter Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions.Day to day duties and responsibilities include:Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Frank Warren's stable of fighters that includes the likes of Tyson Fury, Carl Frampton MBE, Billy Joe Saunders and Nicola Adams OBE.Produce and edit daily press releases and content for the Frank Warren website (www.frankwarren.com) Address media queries relating to Frank Warren boxers and events; acting as a point of contact for interview requests, prioritising requests and managing boxer availability and contact arrangements.Liaise with Queensberry Promotions/BoxNation colleagues (event managers/matchmakers/promoters/social media managers) on various announcements and manage the timing of press releases/announcements.Planning and overseeing all 'fight week' schedules for Frank Warren's promotions in the UK, organising and overseeing major press conferences, public/media workouts, official 'weigh-ins' and other large scale PR events.Oversee and track international sports media coverage of Frank Warren fighters and events.

Writing daily press releases and articles for the Frank Warren website. Attending and reporting on all Frank Warren/BoxNation shows or shows involving Frank Warren fighters.Day to day running and posting on the official Frank Warren Twitter and Facebook accounts.Maintaining and updating media mailing lists and contact information.

During my time at Pearson Education I demonstrated a strong understanding of digital and social media trends. I created a linked set of documents on best practices in social media and these were placed on the internal Global ELT Neo Space so other teams could access the information and put the practices in place for their social sites. This helped bring a more consistent approach to Pearson’s many social sites and worked towards maintaining Pearson’s overall strategy of OnePearson.
