I began my career in the automotive industry in October of 2008 when I joined the United States Marine Corps as a diesel mechanic. I attended and passed the Marine Corps' Automotive Organizational Maintenance Course in 2009. Over the next three years I continued working as a diesel mechanic, deployed to Afghanistan, worked at the Wounded Warrior Trials and Games, and was a shop foreman at the 29 Palms training regiment. I was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2012 at the rank of Sergeant. Shortly after leaving the service, I gained employment at R&H Spring and Truck Repair in Wall NJ, specializing in heavy and light truck suspension and alignment. During this time, I was also employed part time doing facilities maintenance at the Ocean Ice Palace in Brick, NJ. Upon moving to Denton, I started working at Kwik Kar as a Lubrication Technician. After about six months I was promoted to Mechanic where I performed all manner of automotive maintenance and mechanical repair. In August of 2017 I took a promotion to Assistant Manager. After a brief tenure as assistant, I was promoted to Store Manager of Kwik Kar Denton South. In the spring of 2019, I relocated to State College, PA and started working as a technician for Stocker Subaru. I currently hold the title of Subaru Master Technician, ASE certified Master Technician (A1-A8), and have an associate degree from Pennsylvania State University.
