I developed and implemented a two week curriculum directed towards teaching 2nd and 3rd graders about the definition, how to describe, and understand the true meaning of a function using Lego Mindstorms programming software. Students were to complete a series of tasks using the software and describe how the functions in the program told the robot what to do.
