I'm an experienced Data Scientist and Empirical Economist adept at developing and deploying large-scale Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. Currently, I design and develop large-scale recommender systems and real-time auction optimizations.My expertise includes recommender systems, Contextual Bandits (CB), optimization algorithms, Time Series Forecasting, and recently, fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs). I am proficient in statistical and econometric analysis, focusing on causal inference methodologies and dynamic experimentation.I hold a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with research fields that encompass Machine Learning, Behavioral and Experimental Finance, and AI Algorithm Adoption (see below for a list of papers and patents).I have served as a team member, technical lead, and leader for several teams. In previous positions, I worked as a Data scientist at Intuit, held a position as a Data Science and Machine Learning lecturer at the JBS, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, led various economic projections projects and mechanism design for policy making, and was an intelligence analyst and analysts' team leader.
