Responsabilities: Accounting | Reporting | Internal Controls | Share Services Partner | Compliance | • Driven the processes and procedures that will ensure financial compliance across countries in Latam region (Brazil, Mexico, Central America and South Cone region), working with: Financial Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, HR, Company Secretarial and GBS. • Accountable for the Financial Statements within region, according to the local accounting standards requirements and IFRS. • Responsible to provide technical accounting expertise to complex statutory & audit queries back to the business. • Responsible for providing assurance at a Regional level to meet compliance obligations in the countries. • Accountable for the maintenance and overseeing enforcement of all required internal controls within region. • Work with global business services to ensure accuracy and completeness of month and year end close management and statutory financial reporting. • Support the delivery of ad-hoc activities such as co-ordination of external audits, M&A activities and requests from business Leads. • Ensure the enforcement of financial policies to mitigate accounting risks and other controllership issues within the region. • Act as part of the board directors and legal representative for the legal entities in Brazil. • Team: 13 professionals (06 direct)
