The RELX team functions as an internal consulting service to RELX Group companies (BUs) - LexisNexis Legal & Professional, Risk & Business Analytics, Elsevier and Reed Exhibitions. I work directly with senior business leadership teams to develop go-to-market pricing strategies and analytical insights for many of RELX Group’s leading and innovative information products.

Major Projects• Post-Acquisition Baseline Review Wireless ROI. I was responsible for performing a full audit across 6 local radio stations and the national sales agency based in ROI. I was able quickly build up an understanding of the radio business with no prior experience and subsequently review and analyse key processes and provide constructive feedback and recommendations on how to better integrate the ROI enterprise into the group. Following the review I was responsible for writing up the report and communicating these findings to senior members of staff including the Wireless CEO.• Timeline review of a major technology project. I was responsible for plotting a timeline of the key moments in the development of a major technology project for News UK, identifying the reasons for significant delays and making recommendations to avoid similar delays with future projects. I was subsequently responsible for presenting my findings of the report to the CFO, COO and CTO of News UK. Key Responsibilities• Executing audit plan and drafting audit reports.• Performing the biannual risk assessment across the UK business: identifying key risks faced by each area of the business, ranking them and reporting findings to the C-Suite.• Performing ad-hoc advisory projects as requested by senior management.• Ensuring that all open audit issues are resolved to the required standard.
