From working as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at one of the first Improving Access to Psychology Therapies (IAPT) services to more recently leading a team of NHS Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Daniel has specialised in the field of adult mental health for thirteen years. As an NHS Clinical Psychologist, Daniel has been trained to integrate cognitive behavioural (CBT), systemic, and psychodynamic psychotherapy approaches. This means that Daniel is skilled in drawing upon a broad range of Clinical Psychology theory, enabling him to provide treatment that is tailor-made and focussed upon the uniqueness of an individual's needs. Daniel's training has also equipped him with doctoral level research skills, enabling him to critically engage with and make use of scientific evidence as it relates to the practice of Clinical Psychology. In May 2017, Daniel established Durham & Dales Clinical Psychology (www.ddcp.co.uk) as an independent practice.
