Kitchen Manager
CurrentAs a Kitchen Manager at Brewdog, I make sure to provide excellent service to our customers. My duties include the following:• Management of kitchen performance ensuring all site Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost objectives are attained.• Participate at daily handover meetings with upper management and ensure detailed communication across all local and cross-border corporate departments in the Brewdog franchise.• Lead and motivate a team of people to adhere and attain all daily and weekly goals and to ensure professionalism and performance orientation• Organise production workflow and ensure employees understand their duties / tasks.• Provide training to new employees and monitor / oversee continuous work performance while supporting new staff members• Liaise with planning to execute plan, manage overtime to ensure agreed schedules can be executed in full.• Initiate, coordinate and manage kitchen audits to ensure compliance with the highest food quality and kitchen excellence while also maintaining compliance with national regulatory food and health standards• Maintain timekeeping and records on TMS in a timely manner for payroll purposes. Proactively manage absenteeism and attendance and escalate if necessary.• Liaison with local suppliers and manage order flows, stock and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers• Preparation of staff work rotations to ensure appropriate work-life balance• Manage employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
