From a young age I was always interested in electronics and saw the future would involve electric vehicles and automotive electronics. I started with the first electronic fuel injection management systems. I moved on from there and studied electronic engineering as I could no longer learn any more from my peers. As a business we ran night courses on EFI for the trade. In 1999 I made my first personal electric vehicle. After that I had many enquiries about making them commercially. That is when the EV Shop emerged. We made multiple custom vehicles, which were all very successful and many still on the road today. Since then, now that commercial vehicles are available, we have stopped doing full conversions. Just assisting people and doing repairs. Repairs on converted vehicles and commercial vehicle that the dealerships are unable to deal with. The main business I am involved in is diagnosing and repairing electronics on vehicles. The majority of our customers are other workshops that do not have the skills or expertise to carry out this type of work.
