The goal of Reading Partners is to assist in refiling english language skills among young students and to inspire them to pursue reading as a meaningful hobby. This internship allowed me to work directly with young students in improving their reading comprehension, improving their vocabulary, and developing an understanding of literary devices. This is achieved by working directly with students by providing an example of proper grammar and punctuation, teaching and assigning lesson plans, and guiding the student through relevant exercises. Over my seven months the students I worked with gradually improved their English skills, increased confidence, and increased their english test scores.
