I currently work for the Environment Agency in Water Industry Regulation as an environment officer based out of Redruth, Cornwall.Formerly, I worked for Climate Vision as the Assistant Project Manager for our project Tackling Climate Change-Flood Prevention Project (Please see: https://climatevision.co.uk/tackling-climate-change-project/)Previously I was the Zero Carbon Officer for Truro City Council, helping to direct the organisation towards Net Zero by 2030. Sustainability is all about people and the environment and building this bridge is part of my passion and expertise as an individual. I have had experience all over Europe and North America in areas of need, working on cross-cultural teams in numerous roles. My education is varied but orientated towards championing people and nature and my employment history includes multiple unique roles as detailed below. In addition, wide volunteering and interning experience enables me to offer an array of adaptable and valued skills for any workplace such as nature education and project management. Sustainability values are at my core, and I have grown these in my personal life as well as via volunteering and work experiences. The dissertation project for my MSc fostered multiple skills including; interviewing, qualitative analysis, project management, reviewing academic literature and report creation alongside its notable content researching green employment, green skills and especially nature recovery with the G7 legacy project for nature recovery and Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
