Implemented and created a team, developing the most efficient structure to target persons unlawfully at large and recalled back to prison by the Ministry of Justice. The team is now 18 strong and a permanent unit with Merseyside police.Responsible for intelligence gathering, across national and international borders, locating some of the most serious offenders, managing risk to society and corporately. My role attracted a significant workload to be prioritised and actioned. This specialised role required adherence to exceptionally demanding timescales and the management of the exceptional risk often posed by these individuals.
