Running a design consultancy, business incubator and creative collaboration space for small businesses.The Microfactory Spaces supports industrial, product, user interface, graphic designers and marketeers.Architects, land owners, developers, builders, makers, artisans and artists in south Oxfordshire and beyond.I currently also run The Microfactory, an Oxford based design led project management consultancy.Founded in 2008 we offer a range of services from top-to-tail project management and procurement to design development and batch manufacture of tangible solutions in a broad spectrum of materials sizes and quantities. We have a particular specialism for designing and making furniture and lighting for luxury hospitality and high street chains as well as stately homes and private houses and gardens.We are financially sound and independent, with an impressive portfolio of clients who are all market leaders in their fields – from coffee companies, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, chefs and interior designers to management consultants, product manufacturers, property developers and asset managers. We work across sectors as diverse as local authority, retail, catering, marine and the built environment.By applying Design thinking to every project (often including maintenance, engineering and aesthetic problems which others have been unable to solve) we make sure we have a holistic understanding of the problem and the context and ALL of the solutions available no matter how new, unusual or out of context they may be.
