As the IT Change Coordinator my duties included reviewing, approving, recommending, scheduling and communicating change requests in alignment with the change management guidelines and processes. I oversaw each IT change request created and where required assisted the initiator with procedural and policy advice to ensure change requests were: • Approved in the first instance,• Communicated to the relevant stakeholders,• Scheduled in beneficial timeframes, and• Completed as specified.I was also responsible for maintaining the forward schedule of change and its regular dissemination across the department.

As a Project Manager within the Information Operations Branch, I undertook various IT capital works projects. The types of projects ranged from IT infrastructure installations, relocations to refurbishments within Canberra, the State Headquarters and in regional locations across Australia. Projects were conducted using PRINCE2 methodologies and I was responsible for all facets of a project, including but not limited to;• Requirements gathering, • Budgeting, Scheduling,• Logistics, Resourcing,• Stakeholder Management, reporting, and• Risk and issue management.

As a Senior Infrastructure support officer, I had dual primary responsibilities, IT support and Project support. Both roles required uncompromising levels of customer service and teamwork to ensure the Colleges success. My time was divided equally between general desktop/server support and the coordination and implementation of project work.

As a Senior Desktop Support Officer with Getronics, I was deployed on an Out-Scoured government account. I was part of a very tight team of technical staff, supporting approximately 2300 staff across multiple buildings, suburbs within the Canberra region. As a senior officer it was also part of my duties to mentor junior staff in process and procedures along with merging technologies. Additionally I complied many of the support and how-to documents and procedures.

As the Change Coordinator my duties included, reviewing, approving and recommending change requests in alignment with the change management guidelines and processes. During my employment at InTACT as the change coordinator, I was involved in the implementation of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and reporting tool named Marvel.

At Fujitsu I was employed as a Problem Manager at a central helpdesk, hosting Out Sourced services for multiple customer accounts. My role was to review all of a customer’s logged incidents with a view to identifying any inherit or systemic issues that could pose a risk. Research and implement mitigation strategies.

In this position I was part of a small team supporting DELL laptop/workstation and server hardware within the Canberra and surrounding regional areas. I was responsible for the timely onsite replacement of faulty hardware/software. Additionally I was responsible for the hardware parts logistics, including;• Ordering replacement parts, Inwards parts receipting,• Parts Storage, and• Parts warranty return and receipting.

As the Technical Representative, my duties were to provide technical account management and support, to clients based in Canberra for a Sydney based Out Sourcing Services company, including; • Desktop/ Server break/fix and support,• Monthly billing of out-of-scope work,• Administration of W2K file, web and exchange servers,• Network connectivity support, and• The signing of new out sourcing solutions.The infrastructure included Intel based workstations/servers with both Microsoft and Novel Operating Systems. I also provided the day-to-day management of workstation/server patching, backups/restores, infrastructure management and maintenance.

As an Associate Project Manager within IBM, I undertook various IT implementation projects. The types of projects ranged from IT infrastructure hardware installations, relocations and refurbishments. All of my duties centred on effective communication strategies. Defining and designing communication methods and procedures for communicating all aspects of a project. These communications were important in order to:• Accurately define the customer’s requirements• Translate those requirements into project deliverables• To manage the customer expectations though continual reporting and updates

Working on various Outsourcing contracts providing support where required. Provide support for Desktop and Server Systems, Microsoft Operating systems, Novel Netware.
