I am a detail oriented and organized Software Testing Engineer/Quality Assurance Analyst who loves to challenge myself daily. I consider myself someone who thrives under pressure and an “outside of the box” thinker. I love taking initiative and being proactive when it comes to problem solving and finding solutions from different perspectives and angles. Over the past 14 years as a QA analyst, I have become highly proficient in both the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and System Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Processes. I understand both Functional & Business Requirement Documents (FRD & BRD) and I am able to apply that data to my test execution strategy and/or plan. In each of my QA roles, I have both designed and maintained manual test conditions, plans, cases and matrixes as to align with each companies QA test strategy. This also includes the defect management process where I have created, organized and managed a wide variety of items. These include but are not limited to, enhancements or changes, development bugs, administrative updates and new issues. I have worked in all environments from development up to live production where the highest discretion is required. In my last role, I was granted administration rights in HP ALM/Quality Center and set up users and formatted the internal tools for manual and automated test case execution. This also includes report creation for test case execution status as well as assigning, updating, resolving and report creation of all defects found in the test execution phase. I am well versed in both waterfall and agile testing methodologies and can adapt to any setting as needed. I am well versed in business processes and up to date with the most current of technologies. I have been equally successful in both team and in self-directed settings. I can prioritize my workloads effectively and manage my time as everyday may bring something new. I have always and will continue to have a positive outlook in life and love being part of a hard working team excited to achieve a common goal. I am always ready and willing to expand my skill set and look for any opportunity to give guidance and share my knowledge of the QA role.
