As a partner in the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice group at Murtha Cullina, I represent a broad range of financially distressed businesses, lenders, buyers and others. My experience includes Chapter 11 reorganizations and sales, out-of-court debt restructurings, troubled company acquisitions, and of course litigation – including director & officer liability, successor liability, cramdown, adequate protection, liability insurance coverage, channeling injunctions, fraudulent transfers and preferential transfers. I am also a trained mediator and frequent lecturer on bankruptcy law. A fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, I serve as chair of its Bankruptcy Policy Committee. Keeping me busy outside the office are my six children and stepchildren, squash and windsurfing, history and grand strategy, a garden full of hummingbirds and goldfinches, and serving both Yale (fellow of Trumbull College) and Harvard (member of the Adams House Senior Common Room). For additional information and representative matters, please see my website biography linked above.
