I’m a fifth-year student at Northeastern University majoring in Mathematics and minoring in French and English. My long term goal is to use analytics and creativity to improve lives. As a mathematics major I've had the privilege of learning technical and analytical problem solving methods, and practically applying them. At my cooperative education experience at the Worldwide Center of Mathematics, I applied these lessons. For weekly 'Problem of the Week' videos on Youtube, I was involved heavily with both the video production, both explaining the solution on camera and using photoshop to create thumbnails, and the mathematical side, using LaTEX to create easy to follow solution keys and HTML to format the web page that they were posted on. In addition, I've been able to apply creative lessons learned through my English minor to both work and extracurricular experience. At the Worldwide Center of Mathematics, I was responsible for day-to-day digital marketing, which involved daily social media posts and the creation of two video series which were spread to over a combined 100k followers across Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. I've also been the President and Editor-in-Chief of Times New Roman Magazine for the last 1.5 years. During this time, I've been responsible for the publication of four publications, the production of 5 short films, 2 of which were honorable mentions at Campus Movie Fest, and one of which won the Jury Award at the same festival. I've also organized and produced 4 variety shows in collaboration with an improv troupe, and increased the social media following by more than 600%.
