These include - • Competent on both Delta V and Taylor Mod 3000 operating systems.• Collecting/ observing / recording / interpreting information as required.• Electrical and Manual isolations for maintenance.• Implement the requirements of the applicable regulations and the Environmental, Health and Site Safety Management Systems e.g. ISRS, ISO 14001, COMAH and Huntsman Group Standards.• Control the operation of the ICON plant such that process parameters are maintained within accepted limits including Chlorination, Oxidation, Distillation, Classification and Dosing, Waste Gas Scrubbing, Effluent treatment.• Control maintenance work on the plant by operation of the ICON and Greatham safe systems of work, e.g. issuing permit to work, codes of practice and isolation procedures.• Control the off-loading of raw materials from external suppliers into the plant.• Perform routine monitoring of the processing equipment both physically and remotely by interrogation of the PCS, such that anomalies are detected and acted on.• Utilise relevant secondary skills to return plant to full operating condition following breakdown.• Conduct safety inspections as required by the site and EHS procedures and highlight any unsafe practices or conditions.• Record plant information as required by the operating log sheets and other plant documentation.• Take samples of process intermediates as required by quality control systems.• Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure that practical solutions are implemented, in priority areas.• Trained in quick response firefighting / B.A trained.
