After leaving secondary school with 10 GCSE’s at A*-C, I began my traineeship with TATA Steel in Scunthorpe. This is where I studied towards a Level 3 in Manufacturing Engineering, whilst working full time in an immersive role. Here I gained valuable hands on experience and training form industry professionals.Over my years in the engineering and manufacturing industry, I have worked in a diverse range of environments from part of a team of over 20 employees, to lone working for multiple days at a time. I have extensive experience working with both modern equipment and antique machinery. In all my previous roles, I have worked to the highest health and safety standards- these are always at the heart of training and development plans I have helped to create and implement, as well as my professional values.
