• Partners with HR team, Programs staff and other key stakeholders to develop, implement, and coordinate the organization’s risk management strategy, policies and guidelines.• Certify that the organization complies will all donor requirements (rules and regulations), applicable organizational policies, national legislation etc.• Ensure that internal control processes and systems are adequate to minimize risks• Conduct thorough assistance and spot checking using necessary tools• Develop and implement annual compliance plan to ensure full compliance coverage• Introduces a culture of risk and compliance management supported by policies and guidance.• Implements, supports and audits relevant quality assurance systems across the organization.• Develops and maintains an on-going risk matrix.• Creates action plans to assess, design and measure how risk and compliance policies and procedures will be implemented and conduct regular audits to demonstrative effectiveness.• Responds to risk incidents and internal control situations in National Office and satellite Offices, as needed, including conducting special investigations.• Ensures that relevant staff and volunteers understand the policies and compliance issues through trainings and other tools.• Ensures that a complete, best practice set of internal regulatory documents (such as manuals, procedures, job descriptions, etc.) exists and is modified/updated as needed.• Report on gross misconduct or suspected fraudulent activities to the Board and Executive Directors within 24 Hours.• Serve as a Member of internal compliance review team• Advise, for best service, the extent to which organizational culture’ and values enhance clients or beneficiaries’ satisfaction. Beneficiaries may include marginalized populations, government officials, legislators, suppliers of goods and services, private sector etc.• Oversee and advice on contracts, memorandum of understandings and any agreements.
