The system administrator takes responsibility for the day to day administration of one or more Oracle Applications. Manages user applications and their underlying data structures. Administers the user interface or applications side of the database management system.Administers the data the various applications enter, update, delete, and use for company business.

The Instructor Standards Advisory Council (ISAC) purpose is to review and make recommendations to POST staff regarding regulation and/or standards for law enforcement instruction. Discussions during meeting sessions cover topics such as the history and goal of ISAC, proposed changes to course certification regulation, and the Instructor Development Institute (IDI) level-1 Academy Instructor Certification Course requirements for triennial recertification.

General duties include development and facilitation of participant-centered training strategies to include the Basic Academy, Advanced Officer and Civilian instruction. Additional responsibilities will consist of coordination and administration of the POST Academy Instructor Certification Program, Managing the Training Coordinators Program and other Department or State specific training coordination.

Evaluate police recruits' ability to perform specific tasks in a police simulation environment. Certification of the training was conducted by POST and I was re-certified last year. I have evaluated, role played and recently acting in the role of the Safety Monitor for POST simulation at the San Francisco Police Regional Training Center.

The Academy Instructor Certificate Program (AICP) establishes instructor training and certification requirements for academies in the program. Its purpose is to recognize demonstrated competency levels in education and training experience for each instructor, which, in turn, improves the overall professionalism, quality, and effectiveness of law enforcement training. This manual provides a set of guidelines and curriculum.

830.1. (a) Any sheriff, undersheriff, or deputy sheriff, employed in that capacity, of a county, any chief of police of a city or chief, director, or chief executive officer of a consolidated municipal public safety agency that performs police functions, any police officer, employed in that capacity and appointed by the chief of police or chief, director, or chief executive of a public safety agency, of a city, any chief of police, or police officer of a district, including police officers of the San Diego Unified Port District Harbor Police, authorized by statute to maintain a police department, any marshal or deputy marshal of a superior court or county, any port warden or port police officer of the Harbor Department of the City of Los Angeles, or any inspector or investigator employed in that capacity in the office of a district attorney, is a peace officer.

An Agency CLETS Coordinator (ACC) serves as the coordinator with the California Department of Justice (CA DOJ) on matters pertaining to the use of the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS), the Federal Bureau of Investigation's National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) and the CA DOJ criminal justice databases.

I served as the treasurer for the Northern California Asian Peace Officers Association from 2009 to 2011. The NCAPOA was founded in 1974 by several Northern California Asian police officers. The association was formed to promote networks with law enforcement officers throughout Northern California. The members volunteered in community events and offered scholarships to college students who were majoring in law enforcement.
