I assisted in writing and editing marketing collateral for the various corporate law groups in addition to our labor & employment practice group. That work includes creating and editing client-facing dashboards, award submissions, client alerts, emails , and attorney biographies for the firm’s website.

I am a reporter for Corporate Counsel Magazine. In this role I cover regulations governing a variety of industries. Additionally, I interview corporate General Counsel and other in-house leaders to learn more about current trends of in-house legal departments. I have written extensively on diversity and inclusion, ESG and cybersecurity in this role.

As a Legal News Editor at LexisNexis, I researched and wrote stories on tobacco and personal injury litigation. I would comb through current news and federal and state databases to find defense and plaintiff filings and verdicts. I also put together two newsletters that would be sent out to our subscribers.

Norristown, Pa

I covered the Montgomery County Court House. A beat which encompassed the criminal courts, the district attorney's office, and the commissioners' office. During this time I covered numerous trials including one death penalty trial and wrote a three part series on the state of the death penalty in Pennsylvania. The series took me to Harrisburg to meet with parents of victims of the death penalty which led to an interview with Nick Yarris--the first person in Pennsylvania to be exonerated and freed from Death Row by means of DNA evidence. I was also heavily involved in the coverage of Attorney General Kathleen Kane's ongoing legal troubles.

Norristown, Pa

I covered everything from summary arrests and minor car crashes to five alarm fires and murders. I profiled cops, detectives and broke the story about Don Tollefson scamming charities and those willing to give to his fake charity. My story, in part, led to an investigation which resulted in his arrest and conviction. During this time I was also responsible for laying out Sunday's real estate page using InDesign.

Kutztown, Pennsylvania

I covered the local three local school boards and municipalities and wrote featured stories. I met a woman profiled on a ghost hunting television show.

Norristown, Pennsylvania

I took up a month-long internship as a reporting with a daily paper in Norristown, Pennsylvania. I worked on a hyper-local series that covered events, businesses, and issues of concern to citizens in different municipalities.

Kutztown, Pa

I oversaw a $30,000 budget and pushed for the purchase of new computers with updated software. I was responsible for reading through and editing the entire paper before it was put to bed. During this time I also led the paper's coverage of the teacher's negotiations with the state.

I acted as the second in command of Kutztown University's weekly paper. I helped the section editors delegate stories to reporters and picked up a few stories myself during this time.
