Currently managing a growing mortgage processing team of 20. Responsible for running the team day to day, ensuring monthly targets are achieved. Having a smaller pipeline than others it’s my responsibility to set the team up, dealing with complex issues, training new members of staff and carrying out regular review.

I am team leader of the processing department at YMP. I oversee 12 staff members and am responsible for running the team to ensure monthly targets are achieved. Having a smaller pipeline than others, I oversee day-to-day tasks, answering questions, dealing with complaints, training new staff members and carrying out regular reviews. I report into the sales director and managing director. I set the targets for my team each month, finding areas where others can improve to ensure company success. YMP is growing exponentially, and my team is getting larger as a result. I conduct interviews for potential new employees and am responsible for the success of everyone. Although I do not set individual targets, I do monitor progress, providing help and training where appropriate.

A small family run brokerage who specialise in financial advice. My role was as a Mortgage Administrator which included managing a pipeline of approximately 60 cases from application through to completion. Relationships were built and maintained with customers, lenders and solicitors. A fast paced environment which required organisational skills to manage each day accordingly.

I began my career at InterBay Commercial as a Completion and Servicing Consultant. Excelling within this role, I received a Senior position within 6 months. The job role itself was to take mortgage applications from offer stage through to completion by liaising with Brokers and Solicitors alike. I was responsible for the release of funds, managing a team of 4 and also training new starters. Within 6 months of me becoming Senior, I was approached and offered the role of Assistant Product Manager within the bank, taking on responsibilities for Prestige and Kent Reliance also. I was responsible for market research, product improvements and coming up with innovative ideas on how the bank can bolster their position in the market. I would frequently run meetings and liaise with all departments to put a proposition into place. Monitoring trends and business activity was a key aspect of this role requiring good Microsoft office skills.

I became a mortgage processor at one of the best up and coming mortgage brokers in the country. I oversaw all applications through to completion dealing with difficult lender queries as well as chasing solicitors and clients for documents and updates. I was targeted monthly on the number of completions and mortgage offers received, making about 40 outbound calls a day. As well as working closely with business development managers, I worked hard to provide a first class service to all customers.
