Donkey Republic is a Danish tech start-up that is revolutionising the way we commute through bicycle sharing.I am currently part of the exciting expansion of the start-up team in the Netherlands. Being in charge of fleet operations requires me to look after our ever growing amount of bicycles in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, making sure that they are in the right place at the right time and running smoothly.

• Providing assistance to Airbnb users throughout the globe, with a number of challenging roles such as technical website assistance, Quality control, booking assistance and even solving disputes between guests and hosts.• Working remotely and contacting all corners of the globe via email and phone.• Surpassing customer satisfaction targets and being part of the most successful Airbnb Customer Experience Specialist team in the world.• Communicating technical assistance to non-native English speakers, as well as working with a diverse group of colleagues from all around the world and all walks of life.During my time at Airbnb I managed to radically improve my soft skills and abilities in both computer literacy and communications.

One of Cape Town's finest. I worked at Clarkes as the daytime front of house manager for most of 2016. This entailed making sure that front and back of house staff were working effectively together. Dealing with bookings and customer satisfaction and creating the perfect environment in the restaurant.Clarkes is know to be one of Cape Towns most popular hangouts with an impeccable reputation for great food, service and atmosphere.• Coordinating the daytime proceedings of the restaurant and maintaining the high standard of food and service that was expected from employers and customers. • Managing 20+ front and back of house staff by evaluating performance and facilitating good relationships between staff.• Monitoring the quality of food and service that was provided by both back and front of house staff by pushing standards of quality and performance.

SBS is an events based social enterprise that focuses on spreading the sustainable living ideology through interactive experiences. My roles would mostly include plant day facilitation and event management. This focused mainly on organizing educational food garden planting events with local communities. In these events we would provide education on how to plant and manage a food garden to promote sustainability and food security in South Africa.• Overseeing the Creation and facilitation of new projects involving community food gardens and urban greening projects.• Monitoring and evaluation of all beneficiary sites throughout the Western Cape area by maintaining relationships with community representatives and completing routine inspections of sites.• Bridging the gap between beneficiaries and participants/members/funders by introducing change agent meeting and inclusive workshops.• Fundraising, seeking, and identifying new opportunities for the development of SBS, while ensuring strong relationships with current funders and partners.Two of the bigger projects that we have completed were 'Walking the Daisies' 2015 an 2016.This involved 200 participants walking from Cape town to Darling to 'Rocking the Daisies' music festival. During both of these events we organised planting workshops and live music for the participants.I am still a part of the SBS team but for now it will have to be from a different side of the world.

Ashanti Hillside farm is a small wine farm on the slopes of the Klein Drakenstein mountains in South Africa.• Overseeing the everyday operations and general maintenance of a 70 Hectare wine farm with 4 permanent staff under my guidance.• Maintaining the good health of the vines and preparing the vines through all the seasons with organic fertilizing methods, pruning, disking, and pest control.• Completing two successful major harvests of 200 tons of grapes at the end of season including the acquisition of extra labour and the organisation of all logistics.
