• Lead a team of 3 to 5 designers and QC projects through every stage until ready for management. Provide technical guidance to the group through design review and one on one direction.• Help with updating and creating new training materials for new and current designers by working together with other leads, scheduling, and presenting material.• Manage projects by knowing project status of all reporting team members, reporting project status updates to supervisor and coordination of field resources.• Attending project walk downs to represent, update and discuss projects.

• Supports the engineering and design of power distribution infrastructure upgrades and storm hardening projects across Florida. • Projects consist of retrofitting transformers, replacing deteriorating cable, relocating overhead lines to underground, reconductoring of existing distribution lines, and replacing aging poles. • Engineering calculations associated with these projects include structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices.
