World Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit organization with a mission to preserve the earth′s biological diversity and to secure the future of threatened bird species in their natural environments through education, propagation, field studies and rehabilitation.As our Education Training Center manager, my responsibilities are to;- Oversee the training, health, and general care of the animals in my department- Ensure the preparedness of our of show birds for their appearances- Develop new methods to efficiently maintain or improve enclosures- Create and Implement enrichment plans for the animals- Train and continue the education of my team of staff and volunteers

Manage the health and training of World Bird Sanctuary's flying eagles, as well as the flight demonstrations. - Performed many successful bald eagle flight demonstrations for clients including the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals, and University of Missouri- Developed methods for the positive transfer of complex behaviors using positive reinforcement, antecedent arrangement, and new situations. - Trained staff and volunteers on the safe handling and training of eagles in captivity.
