I am an accomplished solution focused Engineering manager, passionate about people and keen to inspire others through leading by example. I have developed a robust focus on plant maintenance in a heavy industrial environment, utilising of wealth of mechanical skills and experience to drive continuous improvements. I became a shift supervisor when the first opportunity arose where I managed 4 engineers. Ensuring all team members carry out all activities safely and efficiently, whilst driving a pro-active culture and contributing to the site KPI’s. Alongside being a shift supervisor, I pushed my development further and achieved an Upper second-class BEng in Mechanical engineering with the Open University.My focus has always been on personal career development, growing my knowledge, skills and experience as an Engineering Manager so I can inspire and lead others and my aim is to continue this throughout my career.
