Supervised the daily activities of the entire maintenance department. This included breakdown situations, scheduled repairs and preventive maintenance. Completed daily paper work, ordering parts, planning work with outside contractors. I also worked with other departments on the planning of shutdown projects, new machine installs and help create P.M.'s for new equipment that arrived. Maintained an inventory of motors and electrical components that were stored at an outside supplier.Hiring technicians, handling employee evaluations, reprimands, and terminations within union guide lines.
