I am working in the head office of Cloverleaf Advocacy doing marketing duties of publicizing the organisation, helping at events and also helping out with contract and report writing for commissioners

I volunteer at Hebden Bridge chess club on a Monday evening, i have continued this on from attending the club myself this includes, teaching junior players how to play the game and also run seasonal events, throughout doing this i have learnt people skills such as discussion to people who are different stages through learning the game of chess, Also my organisational skills have developed as i have learned through the years about planning and preparation before events. Also as part of my role at the chess club i run one of our Monday evening league teams this has taught me about leadership as well as communication, this is because i have had to communicate with my own team as well as other team members to arrange fixtures and venue.

i have to officiate on rugby league matches throughout the country on all different age levels, woking as part of a team or on my own to keep control of a game ensuring the match is played in the correct manner communicating to players supporters and other officals.

I volunteered throughout my time at university to be part of the student radio station Ramair, Throughout this period i presented my own 2 hour radio slot discussing the weeks sporting events and upcoming events, including quizzes and special guests. Doing this it has taught me skills in preparation, speech live on air and also conversational skills around a topic i am unsure about. Doing the radio show has also helped build up my confidence through talking to other members and also doing the show alone whilst guests and my co presenter has been absent.
