The CFOO also serves as HHMI’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer and is responsible for all of HHMI’s financial strategies and functions, including accounting, audits, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, procurement, and treasury operations.Management included 14 direct reports, a $1B operating budget, and a $24B+ endowment. Areas of responsibility included: Treasury, Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Audit, Comptroller, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Business Systems, Facilities, Safety & Security, Communications, People & Culture, and Conferencing & Hospitality.
