Co-founded with Anthony Nelson in October 2013. The business is predominantly involved the in accomodation sector, with a particular focus on social housing and student accomodation. We are currently working on several large projects in Brighton, where we are hoping to create around 50 units aimed at helping issues within the NHS and local agencies and charities.

The Hut Group is the uk's leading multi-product, multi-website online retailer with rapidly growing international operations. In 2009, The Hut Group was ranked no.1 in the ‘Sunday Times Tech Track 100 of the UK’s fastest growing companies’ and ranked the 3rd fastest growing digital company in Europe at the ‘GP Bullhound Media Momentum Awards’ in May 2010. In 2014 Hut Group was ranked no.1 in the ‘Sunday Times Profit Track 100’ Hut group revenues for 2013, are £178m, and profits of about 10m. The aim is to achieve about £1billion in sales in the next 5 years. Other shareholders and directors in the Hut group include, Balderton, Sir Terry Leahy (Tesco CEO), Sir Stuart Rose (M&S), Angus Monroe, (Matalan) Richard Pennycook (Morrisons), and Bill Currie. (Asos founder investor). During my time on the board, the company have made about another 6 acquisitions. Several in Hair and Beauty, with Myprotein.com (at £56million) being the biggest. The board also undertook an IPO process, but pulled out at the last minute due to adverse market conditions. I left in 2014 to devote more time to Seaside Capital, a boutique investment house in media and internet companies that I co-founded in Brighton.

I was CEO for 15 years at Lookfantastic Group and Lookfantastic.com, in which time we became a global pioneer for the hair and beauty business. The business was sold in November 2010 to the Hut group for £19.4m. Lookfantastic Group, owns Lookfantastic.com and Lookfantastic training and salon divisions. Head office staff numbered around 120 at the time of the sale, with a further 175 staff across the 15 hair and beauty salons and training divisions. This was a highly structured business with most of the work done in-house. The business was split into managed departments, such as Marketing, PR, HR, accounts, operations, warehouse, purchasing, customer service, IT, Design, Social + TV, and a campaigns team.We also operated leading mens website lookmantastic, LFTV a video and digital media channel and electrical hair products site beautysleuth. Lookfantastic - Winner of Best Online Haircare website – 4 out of 5 years. 2008-2012. When I left, turnover was about c£25m pa, and the company have achieved a turnover well in excess of £100milllion. We delivered every month to at least 60 different countries worldwide, and have delivered to most places on the planet. Delivered over 3 million orders since launch, almost 10 million products. All from our own bespoke distribution centre in Hove, which was designed after 3 successful warehouse moves. Peak capacity was about 10k parcels a day, holding around £2m in stock at busy times. Our database included c1.5m members of the health and beauty websites, making it one of the biggest in its field. Our desire to grow the database was what made our business a success. During this time I also led 4 acquisitions, two of them were over a £1m. Set up an Annual Lookfantastic Hair and Beauty awards for the hair and beauty industry, which rapidly became one of the most popular and well attended events. This is still ongoing.
