About Daniel D.

My name is Daniel Duh, I’m a 33 year old Swede. I’ve played video games since the age of 6, and managed to graduate from one of the the world’s best game-development school (The Game Assembly Malmö, Sweden). I've spent thousands of hours in Autodesk Maya, scripted and made several short games on my own and together with Vast Reality, launched a VR game on Steam. Fully functioning on both Android and pc, rocking 500 fps plus on a decent pc and 30 + on a high end smartphone / tablet. Main responsibilities where design and implement the menu as well as the go to guy for 3D modeling and texturing. 2014 : Gained a higher degree in level-design at The Game Assembly during which time I spent more than 8 months as an intern at a startup company called Silvermile Ldt in Helsinki, Finland.2007 : Worked as a QA tester on Kane&Lynch - Dead Men Kane. Where I gained full knowledge about Microsoft’s TCR and Sony’s TRC. I especially got the experience of how much pressure deadlines can bring.

Main focus from the start and throughout the project has been performance (shaders, meshes, textures, particles and especially code). It has been tested on a higher end Samsung tablet, and I believe that i can run on mid-ranged phones and tablets as well with some tweaks here and there.Note - this is only a vertical slice with most core features fully tweaked and ready to go. There I assisted on many different fields of the development process, such as pipeline refinement, optimization, technical art(simple shader-code and particle effects). However my main field of expertise became 3D-modeling in Maya, sculpting in zBrush, masking and baking with xNormal and of course texturing with Photoshop.
