I am a senior at Iowa State University pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I am currently working on my senior design which is tasked with creating a submersible satellite for a neutral buoyancy pool that would act like a cube-sat doing an inspection of another satellite. This year's project focuses on creating a working docking port for the submersible that we create. Within my team I have chosen to design the structure of the submersible and create any 3D printed parts that we may need, such as the solenoid mounts. During my time at Iowa State University, I have been a member of the FlyHy project which is part of the Make to Innovate program. I have been the project manager for FlyHy for two semesters now. I have helped to reshape the mission of the project to be more impactful and long lasting by creating something that has the potential to be used by students and the community.
