I’m a Full-Stack Software Engineer with experience in and a strong understanding of the health care industry. I’ve developed many .NET web applications, including overhauling older applications and integrating them with a robust list of cloud offerings improving logging, alerting and monitoring, zero downtime deployments, high availability and disaster recovery. I prioritize test-driven development with strong unit and integration tests that improve code quality and readability. I’m a strong proponent of event-driven micro services, specializing in containerized Kafka-based services hosted on a variety of platforms in AWS and Azure. I am well versed in Git, code automation, and all things CI/CD. I know the ins and outs of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, and am incredibly proficient in Terraform, template languages, scripting, and a plethora of strategies used to improve time to delivery. I am a strong leader inside and outside the team, leading by example to enforce best practices throughout any organization. I enjoy complicated solution architecture and finding the balance in delivering the most business value with the best technical approach. I am an excellent communicator in technical and non-technical settings, and give back to the community by writing thorough documentation, contributing to libraries, and offering strong mentorship.
