The VM Project Co-ordinator is responsible to enhance the store, image and its merchandise through innovation, and creative merchandising in order to promote sales.Accountable for:• To be actively involved in the implementation on Harrods visual merchandising strategy, ensuring adherence to the VM standards and brand image.• Prepare and select merchandising for schemes and promotions, utilizing awareness of trends and appropriate materials• To work alongside buying team and retail management to create the right visual vision.• To design displays & fixtures that will be used in store and coordinate / negotiate with contractors making sure that the final product is delivered within the requirements and Harrods high standards.• To propose floor plan layouts for furniture and displays in according to business need.• To influence the design and installation of displays, working on projects and liaising with key contacts for successful results.• To be trend aware and source actively materials.• To ensure the schemes implementation is correctly carried out and the impact on sales is achieved.• To prepare visuals that will be used for presentations, working with tight deadlines and delivering high standards presentations under pressure.• Work directly with the floor management team updating then on promotional activity.

The Studio at Harrods is a bespoke interior design service specializing in luxury high-end residential design.The Design Assistant is responsible for supporting the Lead Designer carefully working on every aspect of the project, creating a unique luxurious result for each client.Accountable for assisting:• Programming and coordinating national and international installations.• Overseeing sub-contractors on-site. • Preparing estimates to send to the client. • Sourcing products and design ideas that will be beneficial to the project.• Creating presentations (In-Design) mood/concept boards and sketches that would be used to deliver the concept and idea of a project. • Drawing plans and elevations (CAD) that will be used for suppliers/clients references.
