Daniel Dion is a transdisciplinary practitioner who has been researching creative and spiritual practices for decades. His interest revolves around theoretical and applied manifestation of knowledge and awareness. His work has been presented across North America, Europe and Asia. In 1993, the National Gallery of Canada organized a retrospective exhibition which included the first manifestation of one of his most renowned collaborative ongoing project entitled World Tea Party. Based in Montreal, Daniel Dion is devoted to pancultural dialogue and has organized numerous art/artist exchange projects between Canada, India, Mexico, Cuba and Japan among other countries. Since 1984 he has been co-founder and Director of OBORO, one of Canada's most active contemporary art center.
