In my position as a Community Resource Specialist, it is my job to place men, women, and families into shelter in Milwaukee. I have to complete intakes and assess to see whether people qualify for shelter. When a spot opens up, I call people back based on a vulnerability score and attempt to place them into shelter. I also connect people to the various resources throughout the greater Milwaukee area.

My job was to pick children up from their schools and bring them back to Pathways for additional after school learning designed to help them succeed in school to prepare for college. I was a role model and classroom helper during the week. I also taught occasionally on weekends as needed.
