1. Ensure the safe and orderly handover of ICSS equipment from construction to operations for ALEXANDRE DE GUSMÃO FPSO in QIDOND Shipyard. 2. Guaranteeing its operability in terms of performance, reliability, and information traceability. 3. Perform commissioning of the ICSS Systems and ensure it operates as per the design requirements.

The controls, safety and fire and gas system is based on Siemens PCS7 Cient-server. configuration.Key responsabilities and achievements:- PLC CPUs and I/O troubleshooting & replacement during running operation. - Handling data and project backups and creating and importing backup images.- Deep logic and graphic changes using Siemens PCS7 (Simatic Manager) and Scada software ( Wincc). - Rebuild of Servers and client workstations from system buckup images using various recovery software,' acronis, Veritas & Paragon'. - Systems integration using various comms protocols: OPC & Modbus... - Industrial network configuration and network management using Siemens industrial netwirk equipments: Scalance Switches, Siemens IPC Servers and CP comms cards. Telecoms- Good knowledge of PAGA System and its interface wirh DCS.

Main Duties• Design, implement and maintain integrated automation solutions that meet performance standards in conformance with BP Engineering Technical Practices and industry standards.• Ensure instrument and controls (I&C) Engineering risks are understood, controlled and continuously reduced, to increase plant reliability and deliver safe operating results;• Monitors the key KPIs of instrument & ICSS system and equipment, identify improvement actions to increase ICSS equipment performance and reliability, e.g. alarm system metrics, control loop performance, advanced control utilization etc;• Drives investigation for ICSS & instrument equipment failures. .• Provide response to technical queries including design changes, and continuous improvement of I&C associated layers of protection.• Investigate technical problems and propose solutions that promote safe, compliant and reliable operations. • Identify improvements and continuously improve control and alarms layers of protection to improve process safety.• Provide expertise to incident investigation, HAZOP and LOPA studies, as well as Safety Instrumented Systems reliability analysis (SIL Verification)..• Provide engineering support to Projects, TAR and Reliability & Maintenance activities.Important Events Participated: • FAT for Gas Turbine Generator GT control system upgrade at Siemens main Labs in Houston, SAT and deployment offshore at GTP FPSO in Angola.• Deployment of projects: remote access for gas turbines performance monitoring, DeltaV insight for loop performance monitoring. • Leader of Foundation Fieldbus segment upgrade. • Alarm management SPA for GtP FPSO and reducing the number of nuisance alarms by 70%.• Deployment of slug controller logic; design, test and field implementation. Development of Site operating procedures for; CMAC card reboot and replacement, DeltaV controller upgrade from MD to MD Plus, FF segment analysis.

Main Duties Perform maintenance, fault detection and repair of the equipment included in the DeltaV distributed process control system, HIMA safety instrumented system, the various SCADA systems (using Allen Bradley Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs), the Bentley Nevada machinery monitoring system and the PAS alarm management system.• Interface with the engineering department to monitor the performance of the control and safety systems and identify opportunities for improvement.• Request, review and oversee the execution of system upgrade (design, installation, commissioning) performed by the suppliers of the DCS and SIS equipment to ensure it is performed as per the company and industry standards.• Perform configuration backups and restore for equipments included in the various components of the process control system such as DCS, SIS and SCADA systems.• Perform root cause investigation to determine the cause of unplanned plant shutdown using DeltaV, HIMA sequence of events data.• Conduct SAT for ICSS related equipment delivered to offshore FPSO• Job Risk Assessment, Control of Work, eMOC. Important Events Participated: • Deployment of various logic changes on DCS DeltaV and PLCs HIMA, Allen Bradley and Siemens using MOC process this includes: split range control for oil plant, level control on slug catcher, F&G and ESD.Update of line of site gas detector for topsides instalation and commissioning of ultrasonic level transmiter for marine cargo tanks.• Online upgrade of the distributed process control system Delta V controllers from MD to MD plus.• Loop tuning with PROTUNE Vendor on different systems; Slug catcher, LP and HP separator.• SAT for chemical injection skid.• Upgrade of HIMA F&G and ESD logic.• Configuration of conditional alarms to reduce the nuisance alarms.• Training to CRTs on new logic and graphic deployed offshore: e.g. Slug controller, GTP production Figures, Safety Valves closure/opening timing.

Selection of level, temperature, pressure Rosemount instruments, installation & testing offshore e.g. Guided Wave Radar level instruments on slugcatchers. •  Review of 30% of F&Gs and ESD logic in HIMA due to mismatch with C&Es and implemented corrections as per design intent using MOC process.•  Designed, tested and implemented offshore of logic improvement to prevent spurious trip for the following System;‑  Slug catcher SQM alarms to detect level of contamination on Rosemount GWR Level transmitters and prevent spurious plant trip,‑  Split rage control on Produced water degasser to improve oil in water separation. . •  Digital security assessment for GtP to ensure GtP ICSS system and practices complies with GP 30‐60. •  HAZOP/LOPA study in UK for gas plant.•  SIL calculation and verification as part of SIS lifecycle.
