• As a Summer Intern at NMIS, I supported the Additive Manufacturing Business and Technology Support team by independently researching and developing customer support packages to assist SMEs in their adoption of novel Additive Manufacturing (AM) methods.• My work involved creating databases for mechanical part testing and developing educational materials to improve customers’ understanding of the working concepts, advantages, and constraints of AM.• Concurrently, I used AM-specific design software to modify a traditional hydraulic manifold and demonstrate the improved performance AM can effect via complex geometries.
