Home Depot : Throughout my experiences at Home Depot I was able to understand the importance of leadership. Withinmy department there were many instances to where I had to lead my fellow associates into certaintasks. As a lumber associate I helped many different types of customers who sought help up in choosingthe correct lumber for a project. I also assisted in moving product a customer has purchased to therevehicle, and cutting lumber or plywood to certain desired measurements. I also had to use mechanicaland technical skills to work with small machinery such as forklifts and and reach machines which I wascertified to do so. I also used amazing people skills to connect with each customer so that they were ableto leave happily and satisfied. Home Depot helped further my experiences with what exactly customerservice means and how strongly important connection is with each customer.Dunkin Donuts : I was able to take a leadership and get my fellow associates through a busy day without any mishaps. Atdunkin I had to use amazing remembering skills to learn the many different drinks and recipes neededto complete our menu. I also used excellent customer service to connect with each customer and maketheir experience feel personal which overall gives everyone a great experience even me. With dunkinI was able to learn to multitask and also pick up things quite quickly I was one of the few people whoworked on each station and mastered the ability to run dunkin on my own if needed.Carpenter : While working as a carpenter I expanded my knowledge with mathematics and problem solving. Also learned what being perfect actually means. Gained strong communication skills with my co workers, built relationships, and also tackled obstacles to ensure the job was done. Worked with boom trucks, bucket trucks, and basic / non basic carpentry tools. Have experience working in rain, sleet, snow, high heat environments.
