Selected, purchased, and installed the new equipment.• Took over management of the department website, including updates.• Led more than $500,000 in renovation and construction projects, including the buildout of a new laboratory.• Took over and turned around a faltering $200,000 laboratory renovation project. Resolved issues with contractors, reprioritized aspects of the project, and completed the project on schedule, avoiding more than $100,000 in costs due to penalties and lost revenue.• Managed an 11-month project to resolve building air quality issues by replacing all exhaust fans with new units.
