I have previously completed a NC in sound production over the last year which has led on to me following through on a two year HND in sound production which i am making good progress in.In the NC i completed a number of different outcome including; UK music industry Appreciation of music MIDI sequencingRemixingSound synthesis & sampling Promotion in the music industry Sound design Sound reinforcementsound engineeringunderstanding the signal pathMy main skills that i have learnt from the course include operation of a SSL AWS 924 integrated with PRO TOOLS, this includes recording instruments from a live room using equalizers, outboard compression.Micing up instruments using a variety of mics and different mic techniques to give the sound I am looking for.using a MIDAS M32 desk to EQ, compress and gate instruments that I have miced up to create a balanced and pleasing mix to listen to.
