Focus on global health and how to train rural community health workers in highly remote locations. Current research focuses on three international sites: 11 communities in the NE Peruvian Amazon, Oaxaca, Mexico, and West Borneo, Indonesia.

Assisted in developing a new student organization at the University of New Mexico, Community Bricolage which focuses on tackling issues of social injustice from a community perspective. Our goal is to think, and reflect globally, while acting locally at a community level.
