Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading and repairing all electronic, electrical and mechanical Utility Plant instrumentation and control systems including pneumatic controls, PLC and microprocessor based control systems used for the automatic control of high pressure boilers, centrifugal chillers and all auxiliary equipment. Responsible for maintaining a network of utility metering used to monitor campus utility usage and billing of utilities used, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Works closely with utility plant operations staff to ensure that the control systems end equipment are optimized for safe and efficient operation.

Cooper Nuclear Station

Responsible for testing, calibrating and maintaining plant instrumentation, controls and security systems including digital, analog, electronic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical equipment.

Ground communications organizational repairers are trained to perform modification and organizational level maintenance on ground common radio equipment, ground common telephone equipment, switchboards, peripheral devices, and related equipment used by ground and aviation forces. They are also trained to troubleshoot communications systems to ensure reliable service to users. Typical duties include organizational level repairs and alignments to ground common radio and telephone equipment, antenna repairs, requisitioning of parts, completing equipment repairs orders, and assist in the installation of ground communications systems.
