20 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry providing support in production and project environments across a number of dose forms including MDI,MDPI filling & Sub assembly. Vial and Syringe inspection and packing, Cream/Ointment Bulk Manufacture.Currently working as an Engineering Team manger in a Cream/Ointment Bulk Manufacture facility. My primary focus is supervising a team of engineering techs. We work together to understand and eliminate problems then deliver safe and complaint engineering solutions. Planning routine maintenance and Statutory inspections to maintain the equipment, to ensure we keep our people safe and supply patients with the medicine they need. Sharing my technical and process knowledge to improve the capabilities of the team with mentoring and on the job training. Experience supporting and fronting topic during FDA & MHRA audits. Working with the site process safety team to ensure we operating in-line with Global engineering standards and PSSR regulations. Time served Multi-skilled engineering Tech with hands on experience working on Atex rated manufacture equipment with Compex EX01, EX02, EX03 and EX04 training. Good understanding of PLC/DCS control systems, training and experience in Siemens S7 and PCS7 DCS systems. Providing production support including calibration & maintenance of temperature, pressure, conductivity systems. Commissioning and Validation experience on sub assembly and filling of MDI's including writing and completing IQ/OQ packages. Good understanding on Mechanical processing equipment including High pressure homogneiser, Manufacture vessel temperature control units and Hazardous process fluids & gases.
