Voluntary Writer Role. Responsible for researching and producing features, reviews, and commentary articles on popular fiction and media, including Film, TV, Literature, Gaming and more.

My roles include:- Ensuring the CHM seminars are well publicised- Ensuring all AV equipment is working and providing technical assistance where required- Liasing with the department regarding the needs of the speakers, the venue, acquisition of refreshments etc.- Publicising the Seminar Series on social media handles such as Twitter

Transition in role from the Volunteer Performance Steward to a Paid, Casual Member of Staff. Responsible for all of the duties of a volunteer steward but also could assume a wider variety of roles within the venue, including seat moving and set-up of the venue, meet and greet front-line customer service, and working in the wider area as parking attendants or crowd direction assistant.

- Ensuring the public is safe during an evacuation- Handling sale of refreshments during intervals and after the shows- Providing Customer service to audience members before, during and after shows- Ensuring that the show runs smoothly and without interruption

Researching and producing articles for the Boar Games team and the Boar Books team for publication either online at www.theboar.org or in print within the student newspaper which is printed on a fortnightly basis and is available to the student population.My responsibilities include:- Ensuring that any deadlines set by the editorial team are met efficiently and with articles of high written quality- Proofreading any work submitted to ensure there are no errors, inconsistencies or any other undesirable issues within the article in question- Maintaining contact with the editors of the sections, either via social media or via email, in case they require me to write an article on a specific topic or theme- Working collaboratively with other writers and editors to ensure that articles are of a high quality, are engaging and effective.

My responsibilities include:- Ensuring that all Warwick RockSoc merchandise is available to those who wish to purchase it, of a very high quality, and meeting all given criteria such as personalisation or size choices- Ensuring that all RockSoc events are well marketed, easy to access, and publicised over a number of different channels including social media- Working with other exec members whenever required on all matters relating to the everyday running of the Warwick RockSoc- Attending all meetings of the exec to discuss any outstanding business and ensure the smooth running of any and all RockSoc events

- Cash handling and processing orders that came in either in person or via a number of electronic methods- Ensuring delivery drivers were able to locate the addresses of the order and had access to all relevant information including phone numbers and notes concerning pickup- Maintaining inventory of food serving bags and drinks in kitchen fridge ensuring that there is a constant supply of these- Dealing with complaints and queries raised by customers and resolving them efficiently and effectively
