I love creating software.I love people.I love technical collaboration.Recently, I've largely been dealing with system level software. This experience has given me a solid understanding of the hardware systems our software runs on, and how software can and must take advantage of the hardware systems.My recent tenure developing and enabling features inside the Windows OS Kernel has given me rare and valuable experience as a software engineer. I can drill down and develop deep knowledge and insight into complex pre-existing software systems.I have created customs kernels for custom tools, and custom tools for custom features.I understand why something might take a few hours to build.I understand why you sometimes can't just "switch branches."I have deep knowledge of Windows OS internals.I am very familiar with how OS's, in general, work.These past few years, working at Intel, I have been completely emerged in the workings of where software interacts with hardware.I am fluent in low level software, highly comfortable with hardware, yet maintain much interest in high level software. I am technically well rounded.
