Secured $14M of financing and grant funding for housing development, medical facility development, housing operations, and agency-wide cash flow needs. Managed development pipeline of 58 housing units and 10,000 square feet of commercial space from project inception through rent-up. Primary contact with architects, contractors, and consultants. Negotiated acquisition of space for new housing development and medical clinic sites. Prepared weekly financial reports on the performance of housing, medical, and social enterprise programs for review by the agency’s executive team. Prepared grant applications for funding from governmental and private sources for new social service programs. Submitted reports to and served as primary contact with lenders and funding agencies.

Conducted independent research project for NeighborWorks America on nonprofit strategies to address vacant and foreclosed housing. Surveyed 232 nonprofit organizations and interviewed 35 individuals from public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Presented findings at policy briefing in Washington, D.C. and at national NeighborWorks Training Institute. Wrote report detailing findings.
